Semester One 2019 - "Afternoon Delights"

Our first major concert for 2019 occurred at the end of semester one.

This was a Proms concert, which we themed as "Afternoon Delights".

Our guest artist was Andrej Kouznetsov, on the organ, who also accompanied us for most of the pieces.
Andrej played two works in his capacity as a guest artist: Bach's Toccata and Fugue in G minor, and then Sir James MacMillan's Gaudeamus in loci pace

We were primarily conducted by our Musical Director, Robert Stewart.

We also featured some small-group performances, conducted by choir members.
Our Eisteddfod contingent (plus a few) presented Catherine, The Parting Glass, and Es Ist Ein Ros Entsprungen conducted by Guillaume Lemay-Yates. (Guillaume also conducted the full choir for I Still Call Australia Home).
Our women's small group presented Love Me Sweet, conducted by Jamie Beveridge.
