QUMS is proud to present our Semester 1, 2025 Concert, Home - a memoir in movements, conducted by Guillaume Lemay-Yates and accompanied by Jerica Lau, performing a selection of music representing feelings of home, love and obscure sorrows.
The concert features the world premiere of Ravens by Evangelynne Ennis and Preface by Cloud Tan, as well as the Australian Premiere of André van der Merwe’s arrangement of Bright Blue’s Weeping and Kenneth Tay’s A Summer Full of Flowers.
We'll be rounding out the repertoire with some new choir favourites by household names such as Ysaye Barnwell and Astrid Jorgensen.
Location:
The concert will be held in the GHD Auditorium, which is inside the Advanced Engineering Building (49) at The University of Queensland, St Lucia.
